Agastya Kohli is a Seattle based actor, director and producer. He has led the Drama Wing of Pratidhwani - a local South Asian performing arts organization - since 2005 and has directed and produced many shows in Hindi and English under its banner. He has also directed locally for CenterStage Theatre, Live Girls! Theater, SIS Productions, Infinity Box, Penguin Productions and 14/48, and has served as Assistant Director for ReAct Theatre.He was a part of ACT Theatre’s Affiliate Artist Working Group, and in 2012 served as the cultural consultant for their production of Ramayana.
As an actor, Agastya has worked with Theatre22, Book-It Repertory, ReAct Theatre, Theatre Schmeater, SIS Productions, Pork Filled Players, Ghostlight Theatricals, Live Girls! Theater, and others.
A Telecom Engineer by day, Agastya has proudly served on the board of Theatre Puget Sound, ReAct Theatre and Washington Ensemble Theatre. He lives in Kenmore with his wife Marianna de Fazio, who is also a professional theatre artist and coach.
